About The Position

As a Bluegrass PACE Care team member, you will be a part of a program providing all-inclusive healthcare that keeps Kentuckians aged 55+, who may otherwise need nursing home care, living safely at home. Our PACE experts work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to decide what’s best for each PACE participant, bringing all aspects of medical and personal care, plus social and support services. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and basic computer skills required.
  • Ability to operate office equipment, including personal computers, copiers, and multi-line telephone systems.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment and discretion in confidential matters.
  • Possesses a pleasant and professional telephone manner and the ability to establish positive working relationships with others.
  • Ability to work effectively with healthcare professionals, participants, families, and fellow team members.
  • Ability to remain calm and compassionate when interacting with individuals experiencing emotional stress.
  • Possesses and maintains current CPR certification.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree or business school training preferred.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of administrative or office experience preferred, preferably in a healthcare, home health, hospice, or similar environment.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience working with the elderly population preferred.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Serves as the first point of contact for participants, caregivers, visitors, and staff at the PACE Center.
  • Provides reception and administrative support to the PACE Center Director and Interdisciplinary Team by coordinating communications, scheduling appointments, maintaining records, and ensuring efficient daily operations while delivering exceptional customer service.
