About The Position

As a Receptionist, you'll ensure every patient feels valued from the moment they arrive, functioning as the welcoming face of our healthcare facility. Working onsite, you will report to the Center Administration. You'll manage front desk operations, support clinical staff, and help maintain a smooth and compassionate environment. This role is considered patient facing and is part of Humana's Tuberculosis (TB) screening program. If selected for this role, you will be required to be screened for TB.

Requirements

  • One year or more of healthcare, customer service or call center experience.
  • Experience handling multiple phone lines and high call volume.
  • Experience working in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams).

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish

Responsibilities

  • Greet patients and visitors warmly, in person and over the phone.
  • Schedule and confirm patient appointments, manage calendars.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential patient records using EMR and CRM systems.
  • Update patient accounts and collect copays when needed.
  • Handle incoming calls, respond to inquiries, and provide general information.
  • Keep the reception area clean, stocked, and organized.
  • Help with supply orders, inventory management, and courier coordination.
  • Perform clinical tasks.
