About The Position

Vernon Manor is now hiring for a part-time weekend receptionist. This position works every other weekend from 9:00am-4:30pm. The weekend receptionist provides general office support with a variety of clerical activities and related tasks, directs calls and visitors, and provides a positive and welcoming presence.

Responsibilities

• Greet and direct visitors as they enter and exit the facility.
• Ensure positive interactions with residents, staff, family members and visitors.
• Answer and direct incoming phone calls.
• Record phone messages for employees or residents.
• Assist with questions and direct residents as needed.
• Monitor front door area for residents who may be potential wanderers and redirect.
• Maintain confidentiality of information for residents and employees.
• Follow corporation policies and procedures.
• Ensure that all work is carried out in a safe and efficient manner by following corporation and facility safety rules.
• Attend assigned in-services.
• Complete other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
