About The Position

Luxury Senior Living Communities is looking for a Front Desk Receptionist for its Brand New Palace at Weston, an Independent, Assisted Living & Memory Care Community. The primary focus of this role is to answer phones, make the best first impression, provide effective customer service, and promote positive public relations with residents, family members, and guests. The receptionist will interact with residents, greet visitors, direct them to the proper locations, and be attentive to their surroundings to assist as needed. This role also provides clerical support for the administrative staff.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written in English & Spanish.
  • Able to operate a multi-line telephone system.
  • Computer literate with extensive knowledge of Microsoft programs.
  • High school degree or equivalent required.
  • Must be available to work on weekends, holidays & in emergencies.
  • Must be able to work under pressure and multi-task.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions in written, oral or diagram form.
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently AND as a team member.
  • Must enjoy teamwork.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in work involving public contact such as customer service is desirable.
  • College education preferred.
  • Polite, responsible, outgoing, punctual, always on time, resourceful, very accurate and detail-oriented.
  • Flexible as to work schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Answer phones with proper phone etiquette and direct all calls in a polite and friendly manner to the appropriate person.
  • Monitor the doors for incoming and outgoing persons.
  • Maintain the lobby area in an orderly manner, free from clutter at all times.
  • Report unusual incidents to management.
