About The Position

Luxury Senior Living Communities is looking for a Front Desk Receptionist for its Brand New Palace at Weston, an Independent, Assisted Living & Memory Care Community. The primary focus of this role is to answer phones, make the best first impression, provide effective customer service, and promote positive public relations with residents, family members, and guests. The receptionist will interact with residents, greet visitors, direct them to the proper locations, be attentive to surroundings, and provide clerical support for the administrative staff.

Requirements

  • Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written in English & Spanish.
  • Able to operate a multi-line telephone system.
  • Must be computer literate with extensive knowledge of Microsoft programs.
  • High school degree or equivalent required.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions in written, oral or diagram form.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in work involving public contact such as customer service, is desirable.
  • College education preferred.
  • Polite, responsible, outgoing, punctual, always on time, resourceful, very accurate and detail-oriented.
  • Flexible as to work schedule.
  • Must be available to work on weekends, holidays & in emergencies.
  • Must be able to work under pressure and multi-task.
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently AND as a team member.
  • Must enjoy teamwork.

Responsibilities

  • Answer phones with proper phone etiquette & direct all calls in a polite & friendly manner to the appropriate person.
  • Monitor the doors as to incoming & outgoing persons.
  • Maintain lobby area in an orderly manner, free from clutter at all times.
  • Report unusual incidents to management.
  • Make the best first impression & provide effective customer service.
  • Promote positive public relations with residents, family members and guests.
  • Interact with the residents & greet incoming visitors.
  • Direct visitors to proper locations.
  • Be attentive to surroundings and help as necessary.
  • Provide clerical support for the administrative staff.
