Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous administrative, front desk, or customer service experience preferred
  • Healthcare or SNF experience a plus
  • Experience with PointClickCare (PCC) preferred (or willingness to learn)
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to learn and use electronic health records (PCC)
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment
  • Knowledge of HIPAA and confidentiality standards

Responsibilities

  • Answer, screen, and direct incoming phone calls in a timely and professional manner
  • Greet residents, families, and visitors; ensure proper sign-in procedures
  • Maintain accurate resident sign-in/out logs to support safety and compliance
  • Schedule and confirm resident medical appointments and transportation
  • Communicate appointment details with nursing staff, residents, and families
  • Enter and maintain accurate information in PointClickCare (PCC)
  • Verify all documentation is complete, accurate, and up to date
  • Assist with general clerical tasks such as filing, data entry, and record keeping
