About The Position

JD Fulwiler & Company is seeking a professional, organized, and customer-focused Receptionist / Front Office Coordinator to join our Vancouver, WA office. This position is responsible for managing front desk operations, handling administrative and mailroom functions, supporting office operations, and providing exceptional service to customers, employees, and visitors. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced business environment, demonstrates strong communication and computer skills, and can successfully manage multiple priorities while maintaining a polished and welcoming presence.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Professional office appearance and demeanor
  • Excellent attendance and reliability
  • Strong customer service and telephone etiquette skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced office environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable learning new systems and office technology
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Accurate typing and data entry skills (45+ WPM preferred)
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Familiarity with general office procedures and equipment
  • Comfortable working in a Windows-based computer environment
  • Ability to operate printers, copiers, mail equipment, and other office technology
  • Ability to learn agency management software (EPIC)
  • Willingness to pursue insurance education and licensing opportunities as needed

Responsibilities

  • Welcome customers, visitors, and carriers with professionalism and friendliness
  • Manage incoming calls through our multi-line switchboard
  • Support front office operations and maintain a polished reception area
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail, office supplies, and mailroom organization
  • Assist insurance and accounting teams with administrative tasks
  • Coordinate service requests for office equipment and facilities
  • Help keep the kitchen and common areas organized and stocked
