About The Position

SUNPAN is a fast-growing global furniture brand that designs high-quality, trend-forward furnishings for commercial and residential spaces. The company works with designers and suppliers around the world and serves interior designers as a trade-only source for furniture and accessories across dining, bar, living, bedroom, outdoor, and accent categories.

The Receiving Team Lead reports to the Operation/Warehouse Manager and coordinates and leads the receiving department’s daily activities. The role oversees the receipt, inspection, and documentation of incoming shipments to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures.

Requirements

• 1 to 2 years of experience in receiving and warehousing.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong organizational, time management, and leadership skills.
• Strong computer skills and knowledge of data entry and inventory software programs.
• Experience with RF scanners.
• Detail-oriented.
• Knowledge of modern office equipment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook/Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced work environment.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to the receiving team.
• Assign tasks and monitor team performance.
• Sign for deliveries and verify their contents and accuracy.
• Conduct quality checks and inspect the condition and quality of incoming shipments.
• Record and report shipment discrepancies, including overages and shortages.
• Track shipment schedules and maintain accurate records.
• Train team members on receiving procedures.
• Perform other general duties as required by management.
