About The Position

The Receiving Specialist is responsible for unloading incoming deliveries, verifying packing slips against physical items, and ensuring accurate receipt into inventory systems. This role plays a key part in maintaining stock accuracy and warehouse efficiency.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Familiarity with inventory systems or scanning equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
• Ability to follow procedures and work in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a warehouse or a receiving environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Unload incoming shipments using pallet jacks or forklifts.
• Check delivery contents against packing slips and purchase orders.
• Inspect shipments for damage or discrepancies and report issues immediately.
• Enter receiving data into warehouse systems or handheld devices.
• Label products that have been received and stage them for put-away or inspection.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in receiving areas.
• Communicate with truck drivers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely processing.
• Willingness to follow instructions and adapt to changing priorities.
• All other duties as assigned.
