About The Position

The Receiving Specialist is responsible for unloading, inspecting and tracking goods that are received into the manufacturing plant.

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years within a shipping or inventory role within a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work with little supervision.
• Basic math skills required.
• Basic computer skills.
• Data Entry.
• Ability to effectively communicate with others when needed.
• Adequate organization skills.
• Ability to learn and closely adhere to set procedures.

Responsibilities

• Inspect orders that are received to ensure proper quantities and quality of the products.
• Tag products based on the department they are purchased for.
• Compare purchase orders with packing lists.
• Sign for deliveries after verifying that all product has been received.
• Maintain records of orders received.
• Prepare received stock for inventory.
• Update inventory records.
