About The Position

The Receiving & Warehousing Specialist ensures the seamless flow of materials within the warehouse, from the intake of raw materials to the dispatch of finished products. The role is pivotal in maintaining inventory accuracy, ensuring quality standards, and facilitating efficient supply chain operations.

Requirements

High school diploma.
At least 1 year of proficiency in SAP.
Comprehensive knowledge of inventory management, receiving, and returns.
Proven expertise in warehousing and receiving.
Ability to work cohesively with internal and external stakeholders.
Effective communication skills, including the ability to present information clearly.
Proficiency in the MS Office suite.

Responsibilities

Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips, label items if needed, process receipts in SAP, and physically put products away.
Ensure that all required documentation is presented for each receipt.
Manage stockroom and distribution bin locations, optimizing space and accessibility through physical and systematic transfers.
Perform regular physical inventory counts, ensure accuracy, and address discrepancies.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with housekeeping and safety standards.
Obtain and maintain forklift certification to safely operate material-handling equipment.
Identify and communicate receiving discrepancies, damaged materials, and inventory concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance receiving accuracy, efficiency, and warehouse organization, including providing support to scrap.
Promote safety standards and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain documentation, procedures, and training materials.
Conduct business in compliance with Bioventus’ Code of Compliance and Ethics, policies and procedures, and internal controls, and hold oneself and others accountable to these standards.
Perform other duties as assigned.
