About The Position

This role is responsible for operating forklifts and cherry pickers to unload materials and merchandise from incoming trucks and picking product for shipment. The position requires a high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of related job experience. Proficiency in English communication, including reading, writing, and verbal interactions, is necessary for safety protocols and operational procedures. Experience with RF handheld devices is preferred.

Requirements

Certified to operate forklifts and cherry pickers.

Responsibilities

Operate forklifts and cherry pickers to unload materials and merchandise from incoming trucks.
Pick product for shipment accurately throughout the warehouse.
Weigh product using the proper scales.
Check part numbers and quantities with a high degree of accuracy.
Accurately pack orders into shipping cartons, verifying all components of the order are accounted for the correct customer.
Read customer order notes and fill orders with any special customer requirements.
Maintain stock of warehouse and shipping supplies.
Assist in counting physical inventory and perform inventory audits as needed.
Notify Department Lead or Department Supervisor of any stock shelf issues.
Report defective materials/product, shortages, and/or questionable conditions to the Lead or Supervisor.
Maintain warehouse cleanliness and orderliness.
Follow all safety rules.
Perform other duties as assigned.
