About The Position

Responsible for operating forklifts and cherry pickers to unload materials and merchandise from incoming trucks and picking product for shipment. This role requires a high degree of accuracy in picking, packing, and verifying orders, as well as maintaining warehouse cleanliness and orderliness. The position also involves assisting with inventory management and reporting any stock or product issues.

Requirements

Certified to operate forklifts and cherry pickers.
Strong proficiency in English communication including reading, writing, and verbal interactions are required for complying with safety protocols and operational procedures.
Ability to stand and walk on level surfaces for a prolonged period.
Ability to use hands to handle or feel.
Ability to reach with hands and arms above shoulder height and below the waist.
Ability to lift up to 20 lbs. 70% of the day and up to 65 lbs. 30% of the day.

Nice To Haves

High School Diploma or GED preferred.
1+ years of related job experience preferred.
RF handheld experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Operate forklifts and cherry pickers to unload materials and merchandise from incoming trucks.
Pick product for shipment accurately throughout the warehouse.
Weigh product using the proper scales.
Check part numbers and quantities with a high degree of accuracy.
Accurately pack orders into shipping cartons, verifying all components of the order are accounted for the correct customer.
Read customer order notes and fill the order with any special customer requirements.
Maintain stock of warehouse and shipping supplies.
Assist in counting physical inventory and perform inventory audits as needed.
Notify Department Lead or Department Supervisor of any stock shelf issues.
Report defective materials/product, shortages and/or questionable conditions to the Lead or Supervisor.
Maintain warehouse cleanliness and orderliness.
Follow all safety rules.
Perform other duties as assigned.
