About The Position

The Material Handler works under the direction of the Materials & Warehouse Manager, receives and reconciles the delivery of all materials; enters receipts to system; performs material handling functions in transporting, storing, stocking, and supplying material to production and shipping; capable of operating a variety of material handling equipment; and responsible for performing cycle counts and data entry for material movement; performs general housekeeping for areas assigned. Shift: Monday - Thursday: 7am - 5:30pm

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 1–3 years of experience in a forklift operating role.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and critical thinking skills with the ability to work independently. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to support cross-functional collaboration.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by leadership.
  • Ability to lift up to 45 lbs. unassisted with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and/or pull materials weighing more than 45 lbs. using team lifting procedures.
  • Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods (8–12 hours per shift).
  • Ability to safely move and operate material handling equipment throughout the manufacturing floor.
  • Ability to bend, kneel, crouch, climb stairs and/or ladders as required for job tasks.
  • Ability to use hands, wrists, and fingers for handling materials, writing, and computer work.
  • Frequent use of computers, keyboards, tablets, scanners, or handheld devices.
  • Ability to work in a loud, fast-paced industrial environment.
  • Ability to work in hot and cold environmental conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for receiving, unloading, and verification of all incoming materials.
  • Ensure inventory transactions are completed accurately in the ERP system.
  • Assist with monitoring inventory levels and report discrepancies, damaged goods, or stock concerns.
  • Support cycle counts and physical inventory processes.
  • Strictly adhere to company safety policies and warehouse procedures.
  • Promote safe work practices, including proper equipment use and housekeeping standards.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA and internal safety requirements.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and audit-ready warehouse environment.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment as required.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors, operations, and cross-functional teams.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
