About The Position
Tube Supply is hiring a temporary, non-remote Receiving Clerk in Houston, Texas. Tube Supply provides steel tube and bar in alloy, stainless, and carbon for oil and gas applications, including drilling, completions, production, and downhole tools. The company aims to maintain a stable, fun work environment while delivering marketplace satisfaction, guided by its core values of excellence, loyalty, and fun. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 6 AM to 6 PM. The Receiving Clerk assists with receiving material, uses hardness testers to evaluate material against requirements, helps maintain material traceability, and assists with cleaning saws and the surrounding areas.
Requirements
- Experience as a material handler.
- Experience with metal saw cutting.
- Excellent forklift skills.
- Good computer skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Exemplifies Tube Supply values.
Responsibilities
- Assist in receiving material.
- Use hardness testers to pass or fail material against requirements.
- Help maintain material traceability.
- Assist in cleaning the saws and their surroundings.
