About The Position

99 Ranch Market is hiring a Receiving Clerk to receive and inspect vendor or internal shipments, check that products meet standards and regulations, and manage the handling and recording of products. The role involves organizing products according to receiving procedures, maintaining purchase order and inventory records in internal systems and HACCP, and coordinating with merchandising managers to monitor deliveries. The Receiving Clerk also maintains a clean and safe work area and reports potential risks to managers. The position is located in Quincy, Massachusetts. The stated pay range is $15.00–$17.00 per hour. Bilingual English and Mandarin proficiency is required, and the schedule must accommodate flexible hours, including weekends.

Requirements

Previous experience as a receiver in a retail setting is preferred.
Good computer, communication, and time-management skills.
Detail-oriented, with active listening and critical thinking abilities.
Experience using a forklift and other processing equipment.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift objects weighing 25+ lbs.
Ability to accommodate a flexible work schedule, including weekends.
Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Bilingual English/Mandarin proficiency is required.

Responsibilities

Receive and inspect vendor or internal shipments to ensure products meet standards and regulations.
Identify damaged or mislabeled products, follow established standard operating procedures, and return them to vendors.
Organize products in designated locations according to receiving procedures.
Input, update, and modify purchase orders, labeling, storage information, and product logging information through the internal inventory system and HACCP.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment and report potential risks to managers when needed.
Coordinate with merchandising managers to monitor inventory deliveries.
Perform other duties as assigned.
