About The Position

The Receiving Clerk performs work in the store’s Receiving area, including merchandise stocking, inventory control, pricing, and merchandise returns. This is a seasonal position. The role supports a strong commitment to world-class customer service and helps ensure a pleasant and productive shopping experience for customers. The clerk works under general supervision using established procedures, with occasional independent judgment to complete assignments and resolve problems.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• Ability to perform simple arithmetic, including addition, subtraction, and multiplication.
• Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner with customers and other associates.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with Management, coworkers, and customers.
• Ability to move, lift, and carry objects up to 50 pounds constantly and objects up to 100 pounds or more occasionally.
• Ability to stand and/or walk for prolonged periods and repeat motions involving the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
• Ability to ascend or descend ladders, stairs, ramps, and similar structures frequently.
• Ability to occasionally operate machinery and/or power tools, and motor vehicles or heavy equipment.
• Ability to occasionally work in tight or enclosed spaces, low or high temperatures, outdoor elements, noisy environments, and hazardous conditions.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks, stock merchandise, ticket merchandise, and process returns.
• Maintain the Receiving area layout as set by the Corporate Office.
• Interact with other associates in a friendly, positive, and professional manner.
• Keep the work area clean, neat, and safe.
• Follow all Company Policies and Procedures.
• Remain knowledgeable of advertised sales.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
