About The Position

Oversee and manage the daily operations of a specified warehouse or area, including receiving and distribution of all goods. The role manages best practices for receiving and delivering goods, schedules and sets expectations for warehouse staff, maintains clean and organized warehouse areas, ensures inventory accuracy, and works with vendors on costs and logistics. The manager maintains working knowledge of software systems and can train staff on them as needed. The position also includes scheduling to ensure shift coverage and other duties as assigned.

The role requires regular walking, standing, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working with computers, with occasional sitting. Duties are performed within company policies, procedures, and objectives, while exercising independent judgment to analyze problems, assess needs, adapt guidelines, and recommend changes affecting policies, procedures, and practices.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience.
• Ability to regularly walk, stand, lift up to 50 pounds, and work with computers.
• Skills in adaptability, aligning performance for success, building trust, communication, customer focus, maintaining high work standards, planning and organizing, and problem solving and decision making.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment within accepted practices.

• Create weekly schedules and establish clear expectations and accountability for warehouse staff.
• Maintain organized and clean warehouse areas.
• Ensure inventory levels are accurate.
• Work with vendors regarding costs, logistics, and related matters.
• Maintain working knowledge of software systems and train staff on software as needed.
• Schedule staff to ensure shift coverage as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Analyze problems, perform needs assessments, and make recommendations affecting policies, procedures, and practices.
