About The Position

The Receiving/Distribution Floor Tech audits and stocks assigned areas, nurse servers, and mobile supply carts, maintaining PAR areas at established levels and recommending adjustments based on usage history and customer requests. The role maintains storeroom and PAR-area cleanliness, assists with incoming stock, rotates inventory according to policy, distributes requested items, performs cycle counts, and labels chargeable supplies with patient charge labels. It also transports medical equipment, supplies, and other requested items to appropriate areas. All work must meet company policies, procedures, and standards; other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• Must be able to read and write and follow oral and written instructions.
• Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing.
• Must have computer experience.
• Must acquire and maintain knowledge of the MediClick MMIS system.
• Must be able to prioritize and complete assignments in a timely fashion.
• Customer service experience is required.
• Must acquire and maintain knowledge of a perpetual inventory system.
• Must be able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with department and organization staff.
• Must be a team player.

Nice To Haves

• Inventory experience is desirable.
• Hospital supply experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Audit and stock assigned areas, nurse servers, and mobile supply carts.
• Maintain PAR areas according to established PAR levels.
• Recommend PAR-level adjustments based on observed usage history and customer requests.
• Maintain storeroom and PAR-area cleanliness.
• Assist with incoming stock and rotate stock according to inventory policy.
• Relieve and distribute inventory items upon request.
• Perform cycle counts on stock inventory.
• Label chargeable supply items with patient charge labels.
• Transport medical equipment, supplies, and other requested items to appropriate areas.
• Perform duties in accordance with company policies and procedures, and perform other duties as assigned.
