About The Position

The Receiver will work on the team in Shelby, Ohio, receiving and tracking parts, checking for shipping damage and quality compliance, and completing material-handling documentation. The role also includes on-the-job training as needed, daily 6S housekeeping and safety activities, and working assigned overtime when necessary. The position requires working in a factory environment.

Requirements

State-approved Tool and Die Maker card or equivalent experience.
Ability to verify product quality.
Good organizational skills.
Basic PC skills and good working knowledge of WM.
Ability to lift 40 pounds consistently.
Basic math skills.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, with all levels of the organization.
Ability to work, contribute, and succeed in a team environment.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to work in a factory environment.

Responsibilities

Correctly receive and track parts using the RF system.
Ensure parts have not incurred shipping damage and are quality compliant.
Complete material-handling documentation, such as skid tags.
Perform on-the-job training as needed.
Carry out daily 6S activities, including housekeeping, maintaining an organized and safe work area, and completing appropriate paperwork and check sheets.
Work safely and correct unsafe conditions within the assigned work area.
Work assigned overtime when necessary.
Perform other duties as assigned.
