About The Position

The Receiver safely transports, stores, and inspects materials in designated warehouse locations using material handling equipment. The role verifies product quality and organization, maintains inventory records, and coordinates with purchasing, production, and other departments to support efficient workflows and production schedules. The employee follows safety protocols, uses personal protective equipment as needed, and demonstrates MITER Brands Guiding Principles in business interactions. Other duties may be assigned.

This is a full-time, first-shift position at 2200 E. Riverview Dr., Phoenix, AZ. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 5:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Occasional overtime may be required during peak periods. The work is primarily in a warehouse with varying temperatures and noise levels and may involve fast-paced work and tight deadlines. Pay is $20–$22 per hour, depending on experience.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic accuracy and thoroughness when verifying shipments and documentation.
• Basic computer skills for inventory management and record-keeping.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to prioritize tasks.
• Strong interpersonal skills to operate in and maintain a team environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to meet the role's physical demands, including prolonged standing, repetitive motions, bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, hand dexterity and strength, prolonged sitting and terminal use, and potentially frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds.

• 0–1 year of incoming inventory or materials experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport and store materials in designated warehouse locations using material handling equipment.
• Conduct quality checks to ensure products meet specified standards and are free from damage or defects.
• Work with purchasing, production, and other departments to support an efficient workflow.
• Notify a supervisor or the Purchasing Department when materials or supplies are running low.
• Inspect materials throughout the shift to ensure they are properly stocked and organized.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines and use personal protective equipment as necessary.
• Demonstrate MITER Brands Guiding Principles in business interactions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
