About The Position

The Receiver III is responsible for receiving, cataloging, and organizing materials used for production, and preparing materials for the shop floor. The role replenishes manufacturing lines, processes incoming and transferred inventory in the SB Client ERP system, and supports inventory accuracy and organization. The position is based in Gratz, Pennsylvania, pays $22.65 per hour, and is scheduled Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Requirements

Three to six months of experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education, experience, and training.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Valid driver's license.
Basic computer skills in Microsoft software.
ERP system experience or willingness to learn.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Obtain a powered industrial truck license and additional training on moving baskets and glass.
Regularly stand and walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. Occasionally stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds; occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds; and occasionally push and/or pull up to 100 pounds.

Responsibilities

Replenish manufacturing lines with requested materials and file the appropriate paperwork.
Empty gaylords and dumpsters and complete the associated paperwork.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Verify quantities of received material against packing slips.
Place incoming material in the designated area.
Communicate with the Receiving Supervisor and Buyer/Planners to help ensure adequate inventory levels.
Complete cycle counting.
Enter receiving and product-transfer data in the SB Client ERP system.
Apply barcode labels supplied by Buyer/Planners to products as they are received.
Use handheld scanners to receive and transfer inventory items.
Perform other duties as assigned.
