Brayman Precast is hiring a full-time Rebar Fabrication Laborer for its reinforcing bar operation in Saxonburg, Pennsylvania. The laborer primarily performs pre-tie work with a team, preassembling cages, piers, drilled shafts, caissons, and mats. These units are prepared for shipping and designed to be lifted from a truck and lowered into place without additional field work. The role involves rebar fabrication and tying, material handling, operating hand and power tools and other equipment, and general labor duties. The laborer also helps maintain a clean and safe work environment and assists the team with tasks needed to meet company goals. The typical schedule is an eight-hour day shift, Monday through Friday, from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Overtime may be required at times to meet project needs. Compensation is a competitive hourly wage commensurate with experience. The position is safety-sensitive and involves project sites, including federal projects, where hazards associated with heavy construction may be present. Work may involve heights, heavy equipment, and constantly changing circumstances. More stringent drug testing and compliance policies apply due to the company's status as a federal contractor.
