Verdantas is seeking an aspiring 3D Laser Scanning and Drone Survey Engineer for an internship in the Summer of 2026. This position will be located at our Wilkes-Barre, PA office. The intern will exercise innovative skills, work with cutting-edge reality capture technologies, and be part of a company that values its people. Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate Engineering or Land Surveying program
- Ability to operate a computer and basic computer software (MS Office)
- Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check
- Work visas and PERM applications are not supported in this role
Nice To Haves
- Previous survey experience is a plus
Responsibilities
- Perform reality capture field work and compile raw data
- Perform survey fieldwork and compile raw data
- Perform point cloud registration, drafting, and 3D modeling
- Perform some equipment maintenance
- Assist PVT team with product/solution development
- Stay abreast of technology in the industries and facilitate team discussions based on industry knowledge
- A balance of in-office and outside field work with occasional hazardous and noisy surroundings
- Adhere to all company and client safety procedures and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
