About The Position

We're looking for a Real Property Specialist to join our team supporting the 88th Readiness Division Directorate of Public Works (DPW) at Fort McCoy, WI. You'll maintain accurate, audit-ready real property records for a 258-facility, 19-state Army Reserve portfolio — directly supporting Army audit readiness under the Chief Financial Officers Act. This is a hands-on data management and audit compliance role. You'll work daily in GFEBS (the Army's system of record for real property), conduct periodic field inventories, and keep records accurate enough to hold up under formal audit sampling at any point in the fiscal year. Our team has exceeded annual collection requirements every year of the current contract — you'll be joining that standard, not building toward it.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional experience in Army real property inventory management and GFEBS real property module administration.
  • Demonstrated experience with RPI certification, E&C assertion reviews, and DD Form 1354 Voucher Register management.
  • Working knowledge of DA Pam 415-28 category code standards, DoDI 4165.14, and CFOA real property audit requirements.
  • Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field — OR equivalent combination of education and directly relevant DoD real property experience.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain required IT access credentials.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience on the 88th RD DPW contract or a comparable multi-installation Army Reserve real property program.
  • Familiarity with HQIIS, RPAMS, ePRISMS, and the downstream ISR/FSM data relationships.
  • Experience supporting formal Army financial audit cycles (FIAR/IPERA).
  • GIS familiarity, particularly integrating field-validated measurements into GFEBS records.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain real property records in GFEBS for 88th RD facilities — asset allocations, category codes, building sizes, utilization rates, and condition data — keeping records current and audit-ready at all times.
  • Input and validate data in HQIIS to keep downstream systems (ISR, FSM) fed with accurate information. Errors here propagate Army-wide, so accuracy is non-negotiable.
  • Coordinate data across GFEBS, HQIIS, RPAMS, and ePRISMS to maintain consistency across all real property systems of record.
  • Support Real Property Physical Inventory (RPI) certification and Existence and Completeness (E&C) Assertion Reviews — field investigations, document research, discrepancy reconciliation.
  • Maintain the DD Form 1354 Voucher Register as the primary source for monthly audit sample responses. Certifications and supporting reports need to be organized and retrievable on short notice.
  • Complete five-year Physical Real Property Inventories (three years for heritage assets) on schedule, document field conditions, and submit discrepancies for Government review.
  • Independently identify gaps between GFEBS records and physical conditions, as-built drawings, real estate documents, and GIS data — and coordinate corrections before they become audit findings.
  • Support Real Property Planning Board (RPPB) prep, real estate actions, and Facility Reduction Program submissions as needed.
