The T-38 Property Specialist is responsible for reviewing company practices to ensure adherence to pertinent regulations. Audits may occur annually or at other intervals and may include reviewing documentation and other records. This role involves receiving Government Furnished Equipment (GFE), kits, and other inventory property, accurately entering all property into a database, and performing material transfers and releases as needed per company processes and federal regulations. The specialist will conduct inventory cycle counts, verifying item storage, location, and quantity, and is responsible for the control and accuracy of material and records using both manual and electronic inventory control systems. Familiarity with ITAR, FAR, and DFAR regulations is essential. The role includes overseeing the annual physical inventory, ensuring reports are accurate and timely, documents are correctly completed with required signatures, parts are stored systematically, and support documents for monthly cycle counts are present and filed properly. The specialist will maintain Costpoint retrieval records, inventory control over all parts, and manage receipts, stocking, issues, returns, and location transfers. Responsibilities also include performing monthly cycle counts, transferring items per the Property Movement Form (PMF) protocol, transferring parts into inventory, and working with various areas to maintain appropriate inventory levels. Reviewing Costpoint records for retrieval information and verifying part details is also a key function. The position requires performing other administrative duties as needed to meet the organization's ongoing needs.
