About The Position
RLGC Law Group, PLLC (“RLGC”) is a well-established and growing law firm with offices located in Latham, Saratoga Springs and Oneonta. RLGC’s services cover, among other areas of law, Trusts & Estates, Creditor Rights, Elder Law, Real Estate and Business Law. We are looking for a detail-oriented real estate paralegal. As part of the real estate team, you will be handling all aspects of real estate transactions, from initial contract through closing.
Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years' experience as a real estate paralegal.
- Extensive knowledge of real estate documents.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Superb organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
- Attention to detail.
Nice To Haves
- Associate's degree in paralegal studies, or similar, preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assessing and preparing contracts, calendaring deadlines, and managing the file through and after closing.
- Facilitating communication with clients, real estate agents and other law offices.
- Conducting occasional research and distributing real estate documents.
- Analyzing title documents and legal descriptions of property, when necessary.
- Answering client questions and escalating serious concerns.
- Preparing and submitting accurate legal documents in a timely manner.
