About The Position

The position involves reviewing and inputting necessary information to set up or fund a closed Correspondent loan for purchase. The teammate will review closing documents and loan disclosures to identify key data points. Aptitude for communicating electronically and strong attention to detail are crucial for this position.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent education and work related training
Ability to work independently
Strong attention to detail
Familiarity with mortgage loan documents
Able to access and interpret client information received from the computer and able to hear and speak with individuals in person and on the phone.
Able to work standard office equipment, including PC keyboard and mouse, copy/fax machines, and printers.
Able to work all hours scheduled, including overtime as directed by manager/supervisor and required by business need.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education and related training
2+ years of experience in lending or finance, preferably in mortgage originations
Demonstrated proficiency in one or more of the following: Lending Space, Compliance Ease, MSP, FHA Connection, MERS

Responsibilities

Review closed loan packages for key documents.
Review key data points within the loan package to determine if the loan is acceptable for purchase.
Enter, validate and correct information in Lending Space to ensure data integrity.
Communicate loan defects in clear and concise terms.
Generate reports to assist with production.
Mentor and train other teammates in some areas.
