About The Position

This role involves auditing new loan reports daily, maintaining and tracking all escrow accounts, and managing insurance and property tax payments. The position requires attention to detail in handling escrow accounts, including entering insurance and tax amounts, updating flood insurance, and processing billing. It also involves managing force-placed homeowner's insurance, reviewing policies for accuracy, and submitting property tax payments. The role includes processing insurance claim checks, analyzing reports for accuracy, answering phone calls, and reviewing escrow analyses annually. Additionally, it requires processing payment corrections, managing insurance and tax codes, reviewing various notices, and handling deceased transfer requests and lien releases. The position also involves assisting with the Teams Help Channel and adhering to all Credit Union policies, procedures, and regulations, while representing the Credit Union professionally and maintaining regular attendance and cooperative work habits.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Two or more years of clerical/administrative office experience with emphasis on mortgage
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience

Responsibilities

  • Audit new loan report daily.
  • Maintain and track all escrow accounts, including but not limited to, entering insurance and property tax amounts, change of insurance, and updating flood insurance, if applicable.
  • Pay insurance billing daily.
  • Manage force-placed homeowner’s insurance accounts including billing, cancellations and refunds.
  • Review homeowner’s insurance policies for accuracy.
  • Submit property tax payments for all escrow accounts.
  • Review, process and log insurance claim checks.
  • Analyze reports monthly to ensure accuracy.
  • Answer incoming phone calls and assign accordingly.
  • Review Escrow Analysis annually to ensure accuracy prior to mailing.
  • Process payment corrections as needed.
  • Manage and create insurance and tax codes as required.
  • Review Rate Change Notices, Maturity Letters, and Payoff Congratulations Letters.
  • Review deceased transfer requests.
  • Audit lien releases as needed.
  • Assist with Teams Help Channel, as needed.
  • Follow all Credit Union policies, procedures and regulations.
  • Represent the Credit Union in a professional manner (including but not limited to appearance, behavior and performance).
  • Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
  • Work cooperatively with others.
  • All other duties as assigned.
