2027 Summer Real Estate Capital Internship - Atlanta ICG
About The Position
KeyBank’s 10.5-week Enterprise Internship provides meaningful business work, feedback and coaching, networking with employees across the organization, professional learning sessions, and an assigned mentor. The program runs from May 26, 2027, through August 6, 2027. This internship is with the Institutional Capital Group (ICG), part of KeyBank Real Estate Capital, which serves the capital and banking needs of public and private REITs, real estate operating companies, fund sponsors, and real estate private equity firms. ICG provides debt and equity financing through corporate credit facilities, syndicated finance, acquisition and bridge loans, permanent debt, public and private bonds, and public and private equity. The internship is a pipeline to full-time Analyst positions and may provide the opportunity to return after graduation. Interns contribute to projects supporting the Real Estate Capital team and complete a Capstone Project using what they learn during the program. The role is based at 1200 Abernathy Road NE in Atlanta, Georgia. The position pays $27 per hour and includes a $2,000 summer internship sign-on bonus. Internship and Analyst positions are not eligible for employment visa sponsorship.
Requirements
- Must have completed at least two years toward a four-year undergraduate degree, with coursework in finance, real estate, or a related field.
- Anticipated graduation in or before May 2028.
- Minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.3.

Responsibilities
- Research economic conditions and market trends.
- Develop strategic contact databases.
- Conduct neighborhood, industry, and prospective tenant research.
- Perform field research and prepare marketing materials.
- Complete a Capstone Project using knowledge gained during the internship.
- Perform other duties as necessary to support the goals and objectives of the Real Estate Capital team.
