About The Position

The Capital Markets Intern will join JLL’s Capital Markets group in Pittsburgh for a fast-paced, team-oriented summer internship. The team provides clients with strategic advice related to real estate economic interests. The intern will work alongside analysts and contribute to investment and acquisition activities by researching, writing, and analyzing commercial real estate market information. The internship is scheduled for June 7, 2027 through August 13, 2027. It is on-site in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. JLL does not offer relocation assistance or housing for the internship, and the position does not provide visa sponsorship. Candidates must have permanent U.S. work authorization.

Requirements

Currently a college or university junior, graduating in Summer 2028.
Permanent U.S. work authorization.
Strong analytical, writing, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Detail-oriented and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and a team-player attitude.
Ability to interact professionally with internal and external clients in a fast-paced environment.
Intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with Argus, PowerPoint, Adobe InDesign, and Photoshop.

Responsibilities

Prepare and write market research by obtaining and analyzing market information, statistics, demographics, and traffic counts.
Support valuation of current and proposed listings using Argus and Excel.
Review and summarize leases by preparing lease abstracts.
Assist with transaction due diligence.
Help design and prepare marketing materials, including teasers and offering memorandums, by creating charts and other graphics.
Provide general assistance to the team, including gathering rent roll, demographic, and tenant profile data.
