About The Position

The Real Estate Associate Program is a rotational development program within the Supply Chain & Real Estate rotational program, designed to build future leaders and technical experts in corporate real estate. This program provides recent graduates with exposure to diverse real estate functions that support Duke Energy’s operational, workplace, and strategic property needs across the enterprise. The program consists of four, nine‑month rotational assignments that may include experiences in areas such as: Portfolio & Space Planning, Real Estate Transactions & Lease Administration, Facilities & Workplace Strategy (in partnership with Facilities Management), Project Management & Capital Planning, and Real Estate Analytics, Governance & Business Support. Through these rotations, Real Estate Associates gain practical, hands‑on experience supporting real estate strategies that align cost, risk, compliance, and business needs across Supply Chain, Facilities, Finance, Legal, and our business partners. This role emphasizes learning, exposure, and skill development rather than independent ownership of real estate transactions. At the conclusion of the program, associates are prepared to deploy into a real estate role aligned to business need and individual strengths.
