About The Position

The Supply Chain Associate Program is Duke Energy’s premier leadership and Supply Chain development program for innovative college graduates seeking a dynamic career in a variety of Supply Chain functions at the country’s largest electric power holding company. This rotational program is designed to be a talent pipeline for future leaders and technical experts in Duke Energy’s Supply Chain department. The program provides competitive experiences across a multitude of diverse Supply Chain environments that prepare participants to traverse into critical future roles. Each of the four, nine-month assignments may take place in any of the following Supply Chain areas: Sourcing & Accounts Payable, Operations & Analytics, Supplier Diversity & Sustainability, Compliance / Business Support Services and Organizational Effectiveness & Strategic alignment. Sourcing areas could include: Nuclear, Generation, Major Projects, T&D and Enterprise. In these four rotations, Supply Chain Associates (SCAs) experience complex intellectual challenges, participate on and lead small-scale and large-scale initiatives, interact with other SCAs through planned social and work activities and gain practical, on-the-job experience in the areas of negotiations, commercial evaluations,project management, process improvement and numerous tools. SCAs gain heightened familiarity with a compelling corporate culture and direct access to the highest level of leaders across the company. Requirements

  • Duke Energy Intern/Co-op Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • Ability to work lawfully in the U.S. without employment-based immigration sponsorship, now or in the future.
