About The Position
Redfin is hiring an Associate Agent in Johnson County to work with real estate customers on a flexible schedule. The role involves field events such as showing homes, hosting open houses, and attending inspections. Agents set their own hours and manage their workload, with customer opportunities especially on weekends. The position does not involve sales pressure, contracts, or closing transactions, and work is performed remotely in the field without office visits. Free, optional educational services are available to help agents grow their skills. This is a 1099 independent-contractor role paid at a flat rate per field event. Applicants must hold a real estate license in the state where they will work and be willing to affiliate the license exclusively with Redfin. A smartphone, laptop, and GPS are required, as is willingness to join the local MLS and Realtor Association. Applicants also need reliable transportation and the ability to travel within their market. Redfin conducts background screening for this role and accepts applications on an ongoing basis. If there is no current opening in an applicant’s area, Redfin may retain their information for future contract opportunities.
Requirements
