About The Position
A Reach Truck Driver is responsible for safely operating a reach truck forklift to move, store, and retrieve materials within a warehouse or distribution center up to 30-foot high. This role focuses on handling palletized inventory in narrow aisles and elevated storage locations while maintaining accuracy, efficiency, and safety standards.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Be able to lift 20-40 pounds frequently
Responsibilities
- Operate a reach truck to transport, load, unload, and stack materials in warehouse racking systems
- Place and retrieve pallets from high rack locations with precision
- Ensure accurate product placement and inventory movement according to warehouse procedures
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance or safety issues
- Follow all safety guidelines, OSHA standards, and company policies
- Assist with inventory counts, order picking, and staging of materials as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to support workflow and productivity
