About The Position

BehaviorCare Therapy is seeking Paraprofessionals to work with children on the autism spectrum in their homes, providing 1-on-1 support. This role focuses on helping children build daily living skills, communication, independence, and confidence through play-based ABA therapy. You will work with the same children consistently, helping them make progress in their everyday environments. This is a hands-on, high-impact role where patience, energy, and creativity are valued. Training and support will be provided to meet each child's unique needs.

Requirements

• Experience working with children (SPED Para, 1:1 Aide or Classroom Aide, after-school programs, caregiving, autism).
• Afternoon/evening availability (weekends a plus).
• Reliable transportation.
• Must pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children in their homes to help them learn and grow using play-based ABA techniques.
• Follow simple step-by-step treatment plans made by a supervisor (BCBA).
• Track progress during each session using an easy data system on a phone or tablet.
• Collaborate with BCBA and fellow technicians to ensure consistency and effectiveness.
• Provide feedback to families about session progress and celebrate achievements.
