About The Position

BehaviorCare Therapy is seeking Paraprofessionals to work with children on the autism spectrum in their homes during afternoon and evening hours. As an RBT/BT, you will provide 1-on-1 support to children with autism or developmental delays, helping them build daily living skills, communication, independence, and confidence through play-based ABA therapy designed by a licensed BCBA. This role involves working consistently with the same children in their everyday environments, making a tangible difference in their lives. It's a hands-on, high-impact position that requires patience, energy, and creativity. The company provides training and support to meet each child's unique needs.

Requirements

Experience working with children (SPED Para, 1:1 Aide or Classroom Aide, after-school programs, caregiving, autism).
Afternoon/evening availability (weekends a plus).
Reliable transportation.
Must pass a background check.

Nice To Haves

ABA experience a plus.

Responsibilities

Work one-on-one with kids in their homes to help them learn and grow using play-based ABA techniques.
Follow simple step-by-step treatment plans made by your supervisor (BCBA).
Track progress during each session using an easy data system on your phone or tablet.
Team up with your BCBA and fellow techs to keep things consistent and effective.
Give feedback to families about how the session went and celebrate small wins together.
