About The Position

R+L Carriers has an immediate opening for a Rate Supervisor at our Wilmington, OH Service Center. Position reports to Rate Manager. They will oversee and enhance daily productivity within the department for overcharge claims and Short Pays. This involves the ongoing process of evaluating, identifying, and fostering the performance of employees and teams. Responsibilities include setting and achieving objectives for both the organization and individual team members. Develop schedules that optimize employee engagement and ensure that deadlines are consistently met. Effectively communicate organizational requirements to employees and identify areas for development. Innovate and evaluate new processes. Provide regular, constructive feedback to team members regarding their performance. Positive feedback serves as motivation, while constructive feedback aids in learning and improvement. Ensure adherence to safe work practices and procedures.

Requirements

  • Associate Degree/Bachelor’s Degree in transportation/business/logistics preferred
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Products especially Excel and Word
  • Good Communication and written skills
  • Good math skills
  • Organization and attention to detail a must
  • Knowledge of Critical thinking, decision making, creativity and information processing a plus
  • Ability to multi task as you will be handling several projects at once
  • Dependability and timeliness a must
