About The Position

Pfizer's Rare Disease – Hemophilia Sales organization is dedicated to improving the lives of individuals with hemophilia by bridging scientific advancements with the healthcare providers and systems involved in their care. The organization operates with integrity and a focus on patient needs, compliantly promoting Pfizer's hemophilia therapies, educating customers on appropriate usage, and working to overcome access and care coordination challenges to ensure patients can initiate and maintain the correct treatment. The ultimate goal is to achieve better, more consistent patient outcomes and elevate the standard of care within the hemophilia community. This involves supporting appropriate diagnosis, referral to Hemophilia Treatment Centers (HTCs) when necessary, treatment initiation, and ongoing therapy persistence by engaging with hematologists, HTC multidisciplinary teams, and allied healthcare professionals involved in bleeding disorder management. The role also emphasizes disease education grounded in evidence, reinforcing evidence-based value propositions with approved materials to aid informed clinical decision-making, and facilitating coordinated care pathways and access by collaborating with internal teams, HTCs, specialty pharmacies, payers, and ancillary sites to streamline treatment starts, navigate reimbursement, and ensure continuity of care.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree OR an associate’s degree with 8+ years of work experience OR a high school diploma (or equivalent) with 10+ years of work experience.
  • Work Experience: Minimum of 3 years in one or more of the following: Pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device sales; Pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device marketing; Aligned therapeutic specific healthcare provider experience.
  • Driver’s Licensing Requirement: Valid US driver’s license and driving record in compliance with company standards.
  • Any DUI/DWI or other impaired driving citation within the past 7 years will disqualify you from being hired.
  • Candidates must be authorized to be employed in the U.S. by any employer.
  • U.S. work visa sponsorship (such as TN, O-1, H-1B, etc.) is not available for this role now or in the future.
  • This position requires permanent work authorization in the United States.

Nice To Haves

  • 3–5 years of specialty sales experience, preferably in Hemophilia.
  • Strong understanding of complex disease states, biologics, and specialty reimbursement
  • Experience engaging key opinion leaders and high-influence accounts
  • Demonstrated business acumen, data-driven decision making, and strategic thinking
  • Strong digital engagement capability (e.g., Veeva Engage, Zoom) and comfort in hybrid selling models

Responsibilities

  • Drive customer engagement and sales performance through effective in-person interactions across Hemophilia Treatment Centers, HCPs, multidisciplinary HTC care teams and Community Hospitals.
  • Build strong, compliant relationships with hematologists, HTCs and multidisciplinary care teams across assigned accounts.
  • Deliver approved promotional and disease-state messaging to support appropriate Hemophilia product use.
  • Leverage product, disease, and market knowledge to identify opportunities, prioritize accounts, and support appropriate treatment options.
  • Support patient access by providing information on prior authorization requirements, reimbursement support, hubs, and co-pay resources as applicable.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to address customer needs, remove access barriers, and advance Hemophilia business objectives.
  • Use digital tools and insights to plan, execute, and optimize Hemophilia territory activities.
