About The Position

Sanofi’s Rare Blood Disorders/Rare Hematology Thought Leader Liaison (TLL) is a remote, field-based commercial role covering the Mid-Atlantic region. The position engages healthcare professionals (HCPs) and key opinion leaders (KOLs) to inform market development across the rare hematology portfolio, primarily Systemic Mastocytosis (SM) and Immune Thrombocytopenia (ITP). The TLL builds educational platforms, generates customer insights, and informs local and national brand strategies while supporting commercial success and complying with approved standard operating procedures and commercial, legal, and regulatory guidelines. The role reports to the Director, Thought Leader Liaisons and involves 60–80% travel. The TLL works with field professionals—including Regional Business Directors, Area Business Managers, and Medical Science Liaisons—and home-office colleagues in Marketing, Medical Affairs, Operations, and Market Access. The position develops KOL relationships, fosters multidisciplinary connections among specialists who treat SM and ITP, supports centers of excellence and regional market development, and serves as a strategic partner to commercial and medical teams. The role also gathers and analyzes market and competitive insights, supports regional and national advisory boards and congress activities, and assists with speaker bureau operations, including speaker identification, training, coaching, logistics, and program execution. The TLL maintains clinical competence across SM, ITP, and aTTP and represents the perspectives of hematology/oncology and allergy/immunology KOLs within the organization.
