About The Position

ELS is hiring a Campground Ranger in Fall City, Washington. The Ranger patrols campground grounds, answers guest questions, enforces resort rules, and helps protect the safety of guests and their belongings. The role requires responding calmly and appropriately to stressful situations, in accordance with local, state, and federal law. The Ranger monitors property conditions and security, oversees access through the campground gate, and performs routine patrols and golf cart and rental inspections. The role also includes taking reservations, checking guests in and out, selling day passes and store items, and providing on-call emergency service as required. The position prioritizes guest safety and satisfaction and includes other duties as assigned.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Basic reading, writing, and math skills and the ability to use computer applications.
Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
Ability to assess situations, use quick and reasonable judgment, and resolve problems diplomatically.
Exceptional customer service and communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
Valid driver's license, good driving record, and current auto insurance.
Ability to work weekends and holidays on a regular basis.

Nice To Haves

Experience working in security and/or law enforcement, and/or working in an RV environment.

Responsibilities

Monitor the property for issues or potential problems and ensure it is properly secured.
Ensure guests comply with resort rules, respond to areas of concern, and contact law enforcement if necessary.
Monitor incoming guests at the campground gate and validate whether their access is acceptable.
Perform routine patrols and inspect golf carts and rentals.
Take camping reservations, check guests in and out, and sell day passes and items at the store.
Prioritize guest safety and happiness.
Perform on-call emergency service as required.
Perform other duties as assigned.
