About The Position
ELS is hiring a Ranger in Elmendorf, Texas. The role involves performing a range of maintenance duties to help ensure the community meets ELS quality standards. Duties include maintaining amenity spaces and grounds, performing minor repairs, communicating with management and coworkers, and monitoring maintenance inventory and supplies. The position may require moving heavy objects, using heavy equipment, driving maintenance trucks around the property, and responding to after-hours emergencies while on call.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license, good driving record, and current auto insurance.
- High school diploma or equivalent experience.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work with heavy equipment.
- Willingness to be on call for after-hours emergencies.
Responsibilities
- Ensure amenity spaces are well maintained and working properly.
- Maintain grounds and keep them free from trash and debris.
- Work with management to maintain a clean, safe, and appealing property.
- Attend morning staff meetings to communicate daily vendor appointments and required work.
- Communicate professionally with maintenance workers, management, and staff, and collaborate on special maintenance projects.
- Report maintenance concerns to management and perform repairs.
- Move heavy objects and, as needed, drive maintenance trucks to locations on the property.
- Monitor and control maintenance inventory and supplies.
- Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned.
- Perform light appliance repairs and minor plumbing, carpentry, painting, groundskeeping, and janitorial duties.
