About The Position

The Range Attendant helps create a welcoming and enjoyable golf experience by keeping the driving range clean, well-prepared, safe, and stocked with quality equipment. The role supports guest service and the upkeep of the grounds, and includes picking and cleaning range balls using mechanical equipment or manually when needed. The attendant also supports the team as required and reports safety concerns to the Safety Committee. The position involves working outdoors in varying weather and may require weekend, holiday, and evening hours as business demands. Duties include extended periods of standing, frequent walking and physical activity, and working around mechanical equipment and other environmental conditions. The role requires remaining calm and making sound decisions under pressure, including when interacting with upset people. This summary may not cover every duty that may be assigned.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
At least one year of experience as a range attendant or in a role requiring reliability and physical work.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Compliance with drug-free workplace policies.
Reliable transportation to and from the course.
Friendly, approachable attitude toward guests and teammates.
Ability to communicate clearly and positively with guests and teammates.
Reliability and stamina to work in varying weather conditions.
Ability to work weekends, holidays, and evening hours as business demands.
Ability to stay calm and make good decisions under pressure.
