About The Position

Envoy Air, an American Airlines Group Company, is hiring a Part-Time Ramp Airport Agent at Syracuse Hancock International Airport. This entry-level position requires no prior experience and includes paid on-the-job training and development. Ramp Agents handle freight, mail, and baggage safely and help achieve on-time departures and arrivals. The work takes place outdoors in all weather conditions and includes using company vehicles on the tarmac. Shifts may vary and can include irregular or extended hours, weekends, and holidays. Overtime may be available, and shift trading is possible.

Requirements

• Must be able to carry, bend, lift, and turn while handling bags weighing up to 75 pounds.
• Must possess a valid, unexpired, and unsuspended REAL ID-compliant state driver’s license, or otherwise maintain the authority and identification necessary for business travel; some license restrictions may disqualify candidates.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a high school diploma, GED, or international equivalent.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and sort freight, mail, and baggage safely.
• Help achieve on-time departures and arrivals.
• Use company vehicles on the tarmac to transport bags to their destinations.
