About The Position

Piedmont Airlines is seeking a motivated and reliable Ramp Agent for its Ground Handling Department. The role focuses on baggage handling and aircraft servicing in a fast-paced outdoor airport environment while meeting company goals and customer expectations. The successful candidate must complete the Ramp Agent training course. The position reports to the General Manager. Employment is contingent upon a valid driver’s license and clear driving record, a 10-year Criminal History Records Check, and a drug screen as required. Applicants must provide proof of high school or GED completion and be at least 18 years old. Requirements

Successfully complete the Ramp Agent training course.
Ability to meet company goals and customer expectations in a high-energy environment.
Effective communication skills.
Ability to organize, prioritize, and multitask.
Valid driver’s license and clear driving record.
Pass a 10-year Criminal History Records Check and drug screen as required.
Proof of high school or GED completion.
Be at least 18 years of age.

Nice To Haves

Previous airline experience.

Responsibilities

Service aircraft below the wing.
Load and unload baggage and cargo.
Operate motorized service vehicles and equipment.
Guide and park aircraft.
Perform cabin maintenance tasks.
De-ice aircraft.
Work as part of a team to provide excellent customer service and meet corporate objectives.
