About The Position
Ramp agents provide all necessary and required under-wing ground support services as contracted by the customer, including loading and unloading baggage and cargo, marshalling, and water and lavatory servicing. The role also involves operating ground support equipment, delivering luggage and cargo to designated locations, inspecting ramp areas for debris, and complying with applicable security requirements. The expected pay rate is $19.00 per hour. The posting describes this role as part-time.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license.
- Good communication skills.

- Ability to work in inclement weather.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Excellent health and safety awareness.
- Ability to lift heavy objects weighing up to 70 pounds (32 kilograms).

- Previous ramp experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Marshall aircraft during arrival and departure.
- Unload passenger luggage and air cargo, in bulk and/or containers or pallets, onto carts or dollies.
- Unload wheelchairs and child strollers and deliver them to designated locations.
- Provide special handling of luggage or cargo as required or directed.
- Deliver passenger luggage to the claim area and unload it onto the conveyor system.
- Deliver air cargo to the appropriate recipient.
- Drive and/or operate ground support equipment, including tow tractors, tow bars, belt loaders, container loaders, baggage tugs, water/lavatory service trucks, aircraft ground power units, aircraft air start units, air stairs, aircraft de-icing units, baggage carts, cargo dollies, and passenger vans.
- Collect and load mail, live animals, wheelchairs, and child strollers onto aircraft.
- Service aircraft water and lavatories.
- Inspect ramp areas adjacent to gates and aircraft for debris, and remove and dispose of debris when found.
- Report equipment malfunctions to the appropriate supervisor or manager.
- Comply with federal, state, municipal, airport authority, and carrier security requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
