About The Position

The Raft Packer packs and stacks slides into the correct containers and prepares them for shipment using engineering drawings. The role follows instructions, work procedures, and operating procedures while maintaining responsibility for packing procedures and product quality. It also supports a safe, clean workplace and the company’s continuous improvement efforts.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Able to pick up weights up to 70 pounds.
• Regularly talk or hear; frequently stand, walk, bend, kneel, use hands and fingers to handle or feel items, and reach with hands and arms.

Nice To Haves

• Understanding of manufacturing schedules and customer demands.

Responsibilities

• Follow instructions from a lead, Supervisor, or Manager through the slide schedule and sales orders.
• Work according to the Working Instruction (WI) and/or Operation Procedure (OP).
• Follow the assigned packing procedure and engineering drawings, and ensure product quality.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
• Report unsafe conditions in the working area to the Supervisor or Manager.
• Participate in the company’s continuous improvement plan to support future growth.
