About The Position
The role of a Transporter/Assistant in the Radiology Department is vital. In this role you will work directly with Radiologic Technologists to assist in the patients care and will be responsible for escorting or transporting patients within the hospital. This role would heavily provide coverages in the evenings or weekends but would also help cover shifts during the day for PTO coverage.

Responsibilities
- Transporting patients to and from the imaging department from various areas in the hospital.
- Assisting the technologist(s) when moving and positioning patients for their exams.
- Helping patients to and from the restroom.
- Moving patients on/off stretchers and to and from wheelchairs for transportation purposes.
- All other tasks/duties as assigned.
