About The Position
This position is responsible for working with other healthcare professionals to help treat patients with various injuries, illnesses or disabilities. The role involves monitoring patients, administering medications, keeping records, consulting with healthcare providers, and educating patients. Atlantic Health System is a leading non-profit health care system headquartered in Morristown, New Jersey, with over 20,000 team members. It operates numerous facilities and sites of care including Morristown Medical Center, Overlook Medical Center, Newton Medical Center, Chilton Medical Center, Hackettstown Medical Center, Goryeb Children's Hospital, CentraState Healthcare System, Atlantic Home Care and Hospice, Atlantic Mobile Health, and Atlantic Rehabilitation. The system also includes over 900 community-based healthcare providers affiliated through Atlantic Medical Group and the Atlantic Accountable Care Organization. The radiology departments provide state-of-the-art imaging services, accommodating a wide range of patient needs with high quality and safety, including 'child-size' radiation doses for pediatric patients. The medical team comprises board-certified, fellowship-trained radiologists specializing in various imaging fields, supported by highly skilled technologists and registered radiology nurses. Radiology services are available at multiple medical centers and outpatient locations.
Responsibilities
- Maintains accurate, complete health care records and reports.
- Administers medications to patients and monitors them for side effects and reactions.
- Prescribes assistive medical devices and related treatments.
- Monitors, reports, and records symptoms or changes in patient conditions.
- Assesses, implements, plans, or evaluates patient nursing care plans by working with healthcare team members.
- Records patient vital signs and medical information.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
