About The Position

The Radiology Technology Assistant performs clerical, technical, and patient-related duties under general supervision. The role supports the Radiology team and multiple imaging modalities and clinical services, helping provide a smooth and positive patient experience. Duties include assisting patients from check-in through exam preparation and education, and supporting operational needs across the department.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Healthcare Provider (BLS) certification required upon hire or during orientation.

Nice To Haves

• Medical knowledge and terminology.
• One year of clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient check-in, exam review, and preparation for visits.
• Provide patient education and support during exams and procedures.
• Transport patients within the department as needed.
• Perform clerical and technical duties according to established protocols.
• Support multiple radiology modalities and clinical services according to operational needs.
